Did you know....

To get a healthy variety, think color.
Eating fruits and vegetables of different colors gives your body
a wide range of valuable nutrients, like fiber, folate, potassium,
and vitamins A and C.
Fruits and Vegetables Can Protect Your Health.
Fruits and vegetables contain essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber
that may help protect you from chronic diseases including stroke
and perhaps other cardiovascular diseases, and certain cancers.
Some produce can heal.
There are many fruits and vegetables that have healing properties
such as Ginger that is known to help with travel and morning sickness.

It's Easier than you think!

Try these easy tips to add more produce to your daily meals.
• Add fresh berries and fruit slices to your morning yogurt. The extra
fruit will give you extra energy for your busy mornings.
• Eat a few orange slices after exercising. The vitamin packed fruit
helps restore your body and helps with digestion.
• Add a new veggie to your salad. Cut up half a bell pepper or carrot
for a more colorful and healthier meal.
• Try a new snack. Instead of unhealthy fried chips, try to substitute
the crunch with carrot chips or celery slices.
