Cinnamon, sugar, baked apples, and warm, flaky |
| 2 | cans Crescent rolls (8 ct) |
| 3 | apples, peeled and thinly sliced |
| 2 | sticks margarine or butter |
| 1½ | cups of sugar |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1 | (12 oz) can of Mountain Dew (don't use diet) |
| 1. | Grease a 9x13 or larger dish. Unroll dough and separate triangles. Top each one with |
| 3 slices of apple. Roll up starting with the wider end and roll towards the point. | |
| 2. | Place dumplings in dish with a small space between each one. They will puff up slightly. |
| 3. | In a saucepan, melt margarine or butter, stir in sugar and cinnamon. Stir until mixture |
| starts to boil. Pour mixture evenly over rolls then pour can of Mountain Dew over all. | |
| 4. | Bake at 350ºF for 25 to 35 minutes until lightly browned. |
| 5. | Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. |
