A Fresh Fruit Salad
Here's an idea on how to make use of fresh fruit this season. Crispy apple slices, juicy orange pieces, delicious pear treats all on a bed of lettuce trimmed with pecans can cause quite a stir at your holiday table. Top with any dried fruit to add an extra splash of color.

Serves 6
INGREDIENTS:
1
large red delicious apple, thinly sliced 
1
large Bartlett pear, sliced thin 
1
large navel orange, peeled and sliced 
1/3  
cup vegetable oil 
3
tablespoons white wine vinegar
1
tablespoon honey
1/2
cup chopped pecans
 
lettuce leaves 
   

DIRECTIONS:
1.  In a large bowl, combine sliced fruit
2.  In a small bowl, combine oil, vinegar and honey; blend well
3.
Pour oil mixture over the fruit, tossing to coat well
4.
Arrange fruit on 6 lettuce lined salad dishes
5.  Sprinkle each with a heaping teaspoon of chopped nuts
