Simple Spareribs Ribs made simple? Sign me up! This is the very basic
Makes 6 servings. |
| 2 | slabs pork spareribs, about 6 lbs total |
| 2 | tbsp vegetable oil |
| Kosher salt | |
| Coarse black pepper |
| 1. | Prepare fire for indirect-heat cooking in a covered grill. |
| 2. | Rub ribs with vegetable oil and season both sides with salt and pepper. |
| 3. | Place ribs, not overlapping, over indirect heat on grill. Close grill hood and cook ribs |
| NOT directly over coals for 1½ hours, until ribs are very tender. | |
| 4. | In final minutes of grilling, baste ribs with barbeque sauce. Cut and serve ribs with |
| remaining sauce on the side. |
